Five mental and emotional detriments

Five basic mental & emotional detriments in life
1) Ill will
2) Lethargy or topor
3) Sensory desires
4) Restlessness & anxiety
5) Uncertainty or doubt

When we think not so nice things or wish not so nice things to happen
for someone else or towards ourselves, it is ill will that is a detriment.
When our mind becomes over tired, fustrated, melancholy, depressed,
we do not care about anything, it is lethargy that is a detriment.
When our feelings are not satisfied, through one of the senses
it is our sensory that is a detriment
When we become nervous or anxious our mind is tossing and turning
it is restlessness and anxiety that is a detriment.
When we do not or cannot understand what is going on,
it is uncertainty that is a detriment
